Meditation is also about becoming more and more aware of our senses, the listening.

The feeling, the sensing, the smelling, the hearing.

We often use these automatically, but in a state of meditation we can experience them from a different level of consciousness, and that is what you also often call presentness.

You can start very simply, just by listening to your breath.

Listening to your heartbeat.

Listening to the sounds in the room.

And listening to the silence in the room you’re in.

You can start a meditation by watching. Watching a candle,  watching a light, watching a beloved human being or pet, just watching, watching becoming aware of the images that are arising.

Be in the state of meditation through sentience, feeling.

Feeling the outer layer of your skin, feeling the air on your skin, feeling dryness, wetness, a breeze, changes in temperature.

So many things you can feel alonee with your skin.

Meditation can also be a state of feeling within the body and beyond the body.

Feeling impressions of where you are, how you feel in the body, what the body is doing.

What is happening in the body?

Feel it, feel into it, tune into it.

 Feel it.

No need to label it, no need to judge it, no need to name it anything, just feel it.
